The complexity of evaluation Israel Katz The starting point of this article is that the human condition is one marked by the challenge of contemplating uncertainty . There is a fair amount of certainty in the entrance and exit of our bodies into this world , but the time spent in between is fraught with doubt . We enter a chaotic and puzzling reality which is slowly deciphered throughout our lives . We learn to depend on significant others and slowly develop our own internal compasses which guide us- at times even against the judgment of those early encounters with significant others .
