It is not often that non-educators take the lead in a debate on educational developments . But in a democratic nation , education is the rightful business of all the people . In this spirit , Max Rowe has ventured his opinions on how the schools of Israel ( and perhaps those in other countries of the world , although he does not say so ) can serve better both young people and the nation . He makes a challenging statement that identifies the shortcomings of the schools as they are and suggests ways to use recently gained knowledge and experience for their improvement .
