On the other hand, the vessels of the seven lower emanations, from Hesed to Malkhut , were too small to contain the large amount of light breaking into them and filling their space . Each of these seven vessels was only able to contain the light intended for it . The vessel of Hesed , for example, could not contain all the combined lights which expanded and broke into it, but only the light of Hesed . The same applies to the vessel of Din , which could only contain the light of Din , and so on, down to the last of these vessels, the vessel of Malkhut . It is therefore clear that, once these combined lights entered the seven lower vessels, these vessels had no strength left in them .
