Greeting * 8 This year Megalim organized a special conference in England in cooperation with Cambridge University . At the conference, eleven excavators and scholars—young people and experienced veterans alike—presented the latest archaeological, historical, and geological data about the City of David and ancient Jerusalem . The Israeli speakers were received warmly by leading faculty members at Cambridge, and we are now planning the next conference, to take place in 2020 . Organizing the City of David Studies of Ancient Jerusalem conference is a time and effort consuming enterprise . I would like to thank several people who played key roles in the preparations : Prof .
