בשנת 1918 חזר ישראל הימן לארץ והביא אתו שני טרקטורים , שהיו הראשונים בארץ . הטרקטורים הוצגו בתערוכה חקלאית שהתקיימה בראשון לציון , והחקלאים התפעלו מן האפשרות לחרוש ולשדד בלי סוסים .
