The Kibbutz Meuhad Fund Ltd . ( 1935-1980 ) was a central financial organization of the Kibbutz Meuhad Movement until the establishment of the United Kibbutz Movement ( "Takam" ) . The study is based on documents in various archives and on many publications . The book describes the background , the roots , from the beginning of kibbutz settlement in Palestine ( 1910 ) and particularly the historyof the establishment of central collective financial services of the various movements . The attempts to carry out the idea of cooperative credit organizations in towns are also mentioned .
